Jodie Andersen, CEO of Jodog Safety Innovations, was elected treasurer of the Northern California Central Valley Chapter of the Maintenance Superintendents Association (MSA) for 2011. As the chapter treasurer, Jodie will also serve as an integral part of the executive committee for the regional organization.
The Maintenance Superintendents Association serves to promote cost effective maintenance of the Public infrastructure, to support the commercial entrepreneurs who supply safety equipment and services, and to provide safety equipment, materials, and technical support. MSA is also dedicated to the ongoing education of its members and the dissemination of best practice safety procedures.

Certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE)

JoDog Safety Innovations has been certified by the Supplier Clearinghouse for the Utility Supplier Diversity Program of the California Public Utilities Commission to be a Women's Business Enterprise.
A WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise) is an independent business concern that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more women who are U.S. citizens or Legal Resident Aliens, and whose management and daily operation is controlled by one or more of the women owners.
Being certified as a WBE means that a business concern has gone through a rigorous and stringent certification process that confirms the business is owned, managed, and controlled by a woman or women.

JoDog Sports, Inc. has created JoDog Safety Innovations (JSI) as a division in order to better represent and market JoDog's safety products and services.
JoDog Sports, Inc. started off developing and marketing the XTend-A-Step telescoping trailer hitch step for trucks and SUVs. JoDog has since expanded into a company that brings to market unique work safety products and offers comprehensive safety training and services.
Along with the new name, JoDog Safety Innovations will be rebranding itself as a workplace safety solution company.

JSI Awarded Contract
Sierra Army Depot

JoDog Safety Innovations (JSI) won a federal contract with Sierra Army Depot for outfitting their Law Enforcement Vehicles with the necessary safety lighting and communications equipment.
The Sierra Army Depot functions as an Expeditionary Logistics Center that provides a complete range of logistics support for military operations, including the receipt, storage, repair, shipping, maintenance, and fabrication of assets.

The Maintenance Superintendents Association is supported by a membership comprised of Mid Management Municipal, County, State and Special District employees who are responsible for, and dedicated to the cost effective maintenance of the Public infrastructure, and the commercial entrepreneurs who supply them with the equipment, materials and technical support to carry out this vital mission. The Association is also dedicated to the ongoing education of its members and the dissemination of available safety procedures.

The Nevada Department of Transportation has entered into a Unified Certification Program with the other U.S. Department of Transportation modal agencies entitling JoDog Sport, Inc. to bid as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise with the Airport Authorities of Clark, and Washoe counties, and the Regional Transportation Commissions of Clark and Washoe counties. In addition, this certification allows JoDog Sport, Inc. the ability to solicit contracts and procurement opportunities from other federal/state/local agencies.

In a timely move, the Registered Marks for the product and the company were also issued. JoDog Sport, Inc. markets and sells a number of innovative solutions for prevention of injuries and accidents.
